Musica al Tempio is delighted to invite young musicians to the fourth edition of the chamber
music workshop created and taught by noted solo violinist Yulia Berinskaya, of the Russian
school of Yuri Yankelevich.
Like in the artists’ workshops of the Renaissance, the Progetto Bottega invites emerging
chamber groups to share a concert with a Maestro.

PROGRAM
The program of the final concert and workshop will be divided in two parts:
- The first part will include approximately four chamber pieces, related to the theme of the workshop, Years of Pilgrimage – Tchaikovski Souvenir de Florence
- The second part will consist of a performance of Souvenir de Florence, op. 70, sextet for
strings in D major by Petr Ilic Tchaikovski, interpreted by maestros and workshop participants.
There will be a moderator who will introduce and explain some musicological and interdisciplinary aspects of the pieces in the program.
Audiences will be allowed to view the activity of the workshop, in compliance with the health and safety regulations in effect.
REGISTRATION
A maximum of 6 chamber groups will be admitted to the workshop.
If the number of groups is less than 6, single musician candidates will be considered.
To participate in the workshop, candidates must pass a video audition.
Candidates must send their information via this website’s form by March 25, 2024.
- Every candidate must attach a link to a video (YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive…) of their chamber group proposing and performing a piece (an entire composition or part of one) of maximum 10 minutes, related to the theme of the workshop (Years of pilgrimage –Tchaikovski Souvenir de Florence).
If the application is from a single musician, the video can be any piece or performance that demonstrates the qualities of the candidate. - Candidates must also specify whether or not they are willing to participate in the rehearsal and execution of Souvenir de Florence, op. 70, sextet for strings in D major by Petr Ilic Tchaikovski.

Every candidate will be evaluated.
After the application deadline, Maestro Yulia Berinskaya will select the candidates most suitable for the needs of the project.
A full scholarship will be awarded to the group judged most worthy by the Maestro Yulia Berinskaya.
COSTS
The application is free.
The cost to participate in the workshop is 130 €, including:
- Registration fee - 30 €
By paying this fee, the participant will become a member of Musica al Tempio - Participation fee - 100 €
After Maestro Yulia Berinskaya has selected the candidates, they will be notified via email with a summary of the dates for payment, which must be made by March 26, 2024, via bank transfer.
The registration and participation fees are due for each participant.
TIMING
The workshop will meet from April 3 to 6, 2024, at the Tempio Valdese di Milano, accessible by metro M1 and M3 S. Babila/Duomo.
